Every metre of height gives roughly 0.1 bar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friction losses.<\/strong> Undersized pipe, long runs, many bends and partially closed valves all consume pressure before the water reaches the outlet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scale and debris.<\/strong> In hard-water areas, gradual build-up narrows the effective bore over time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Simultaneous demand.<\/strong> Pressure that is adequate for one outlet collapses when several open together.<\/p>\n<h2>The fix<\/h2>\n<p>A booster pump raises pressure at the point it is needed.
